Talking Is Hard is the third album from American indie rock band Walk the Moon. This release sees the band continue its take on '80s-leaning pop music, with production by Tim Pagnotta (Neon Trees, Matthew Koma) and mixing by Neal Avron (Weezer, New Found Glory). The single "Shut Up and Dance" is included on this release.

by () I've anticipated this album for months. I prepared by covering myself in butter and laying in my bathtub filled with dirt playing their first album on repeat for 8-10 hours a day. If you want to try this, I've found that changing the dirt out every few weeks helps. Don't want any creatures where they don't belong! LOL! Margarine is also not advisable as a bodily lubricant/music euphoria intensifier. I'm not going to explain why. Stick to butter. If you crave social interaction, butter up some friends and lay in the tub together! I don't know how big your bath tub is though. Do not attempt talking to your friend(s) while covered in dirt, though. Heed my advice. TALKING IS HARD when there's dirt involved.

I Want!, the band signed on with Brooklyn, New York-based boutique management company Mick Management and began work on its follow-up LP with producer/mixer/songwriter Ben Allen at Atlanta, Georgia's Doppler Studios.
